Its historic buildings keep the city’s long musical tradition alive with the sounds of live performances every night. Lubbock’s position on the Texas plains has given it a historic advantage with travelers passing through. There you can find many musicians regularly paying a sort of tribute to the native Lubbock legend who was tragically killed.

You’ll see Buddy Holly’s famous Fender Stratocaster guitar and his distinctive glasses on display and enjoy a constantly changing series of exhibits that pay tribute to his art in all its forms, from painting to music to sculpture to literature.
